Washing Instructions

Washing Instructions

Always follow the care label. Here are a few guidelines on how to optimise the durability of our products:

EGYPTIAN COTTON BED LINEN AND TABLE LINEN

Machine wash at 40 degrees centigrade, tumble dry (on low heat to avoid excessive shrinkage) with cooling down period, take out of dryer shortly after cycle is completed, fold, lay flat and iron whilst fabric is still damp. You may also hang the bed linen to drip dry, this will result in minimum creasing. Do not mix wash with other fibres like acrylic or polycotton, as this may result in pilling of the cotton fabric.

(The products are made larger than the sizes quoted to allow for a shrinkage of up to 5% during washing.)

POLYCOTTON BED LINEN AND TABLE LINEN

Machine wash at 30 degrees centigrade, tumble dry (on low heat to avoid excessive shrinkage) with cooling down period, take out of dryer shortly after cycle is completed, fold while fabric is still damp. If you prefer a pristine appearance then ironing may be required, however, this range of linen is easy to iron. Do not mix wash with other fibres like acrylic or polyester, as this may result in pilling of the polycotton fabric.

(The products are made larger than the sizes quoted to allow for a shrinkage of up to 5% during washing.)

TOWELLING & ROBES

We recommend that your new towel/robe should be washed before use, as it takes several washes to achieve their maximum absorbency & softness.

Try not to use fabric conditioner. If you do, use only a very small amount and not in every wash as this coats the towelling loops, reducing towels/robes absorbency.

Tumble dry (on low heat to avoid excessive shrinkage) your towels with dryer balls (available from most supermarkets, or two tennis balls) in the drum to help get them extra soft and fluffy. This is especially required on the Zero Twist & Mont Blanc Towels to ensure the towels have the best outcome after washing. When washing our Bathrobes, you should remove the belts to avoid damaging the belt loops.

(The products are made larger than the sizes quoted to allow for a shrinkage of up to 5% during washing.)

If you see a stray pulled loop on your towel/robe please cut off with a pair of scissors, this will not damage the item.

Bathroom detergents and some beauty products, such as cleansers contain bleaching agents may cause permanent discolouration to your towel/robe.

Please do not dry clean your towels/robes.

SOFT COTTON BLANKETS

Our soft cotton blankets are designed for comfort and longevity. For optimal care, machine wash your blanket on a cool, soft cycle. Avoid combining the blanket with other fabrics, especially those with differing fiber types, to prevent pilling.

After washing, allow the blanket to air dry or tumble dry on low heat. Be sure to remove it promptly after the cycle is complete to prevent excessive creasing. If you wish to maintain a pristine appearance, ironing may be necessary, but always ensure the blanket is still slightly damp when ironing.

(The products are made larger than the sizes quoted to allow for a shrinkage of up to 5% during washing.)

Please note, it's always important to wash dark colours separately. As with all our products, your soft cotton blanket will come with specific instructions on its packaging and/or labels to help you provide the best care for your item.

ALWAYS WASH DARK COLOURS SEPARATELY

The above washing instructions are for guidance only, for more detailed procedure, all of our products have specific instructions on the packaging and/or labels.
