TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE

DELIVERY
Delivery address
Orders are delivered to the address provided by the customer when placing the order. Delivery charges are payable in addition to the selling price of the products. KING OF COTTON cannot be held responsible for any consequences arising from delays in transit.
Receiving your order
Once the carrier has received your order, you will be given a tracking number so that you can track your parcel at any time on the carrier’s website. The tracking number is also available at https://www.kingofcotton.fr/ under “My Account / Order History”.
Your parcel will be delivered from Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays, to the address you have provided.
Some private carriers do not deliver to PO boxes, military addresses or, more generally, addresses that contain insufficient information or are inaccessible. If your address lacks sufficient detail, for example a hamlet, named locality or neighbourhood without a street name, please provide any information that may help the driver, such as the position or colour of the house. If delivery is to a building or property where the doorbells can only be accessed by entering a code, please enter this code in the “Door Code” field when creating your delivery address.
If you are absent at the time of delivery, depending on the carrier, your parcel may be left at the nearest post office or collection point. You will receive an email and/or text message, together with a delivery notification in your letterbox, which must be accessible, giving you the address of the collection point. If your order is not collected within ten (10) days, the parcel will be returned to KING OF COTTON.
Delivery problems
If the parcel is damaged, you may refuse delivery. You must then notify KING OF COTTON Customer Services on 04 89 61 01 99, Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm. In the event of a dispute, an investigation may take up to twenty-one (21) working days.
Any complaints concerning faulty goods, incorrect quantities or incorrect product references must be reported to KING OF COTTON Customer Services within 48 hours of receiving the parcel. After this period, the right to make a claim will lapse.
Unforeseen events / force majeure
KING OF COTTON is not responsible for delays or failure to supply or deliver goods in the event of fire, full or partial strikes, flooding, supply shortages, manufacturing changes or, more generally, any circumstances constituting force majeure or unforeseen events under applicable law and case law.
REFUNDS
The following conditions do not apply to beds, mattresses or headboards.
We operate a 30-day refund policy from the date you receive your order.
We will NOT refund or replace goods that may have arrived at their destination in an unusable or faulty condition, or that differ from those ordered.
Products with personalised embroidery CANNOT be returned or exchanged.
EXCHANGES / RETURNS
The following conditions do not apply to beds, mattresses or headboards.

You have 30 days to return any unwanted products at your own expense. They must be returned in their original packaging and in perfect condition. Damaged or used products cannot be accepted for return. This period begins on the day you receive your order.
Products with personalised embroidery cannot be returned or exchanged.

The delivery charge for a replacement following a change of size, colour or product is payable by you.
We have considered offering this delivery free of charge, but most companies that do so recover their costs in other ways, for example by increasing their product prices. We do not wish to adopt this approach.

However, we cannot guarantee that your screen will accurately reflect the colours of our products. Although we aim to be as accurate as possible, all information on this website is provided in good faith and for information purposes only.
Please also note that colours may vary slightly between batches due to the nature of cotton. Cotton is a natural fibre, and the dye may produce variations in the final shade. This is common within the industry, but the results cannot be standardised due to the nature of cotton.

King of Cotton reserves the right to verify the personal information supplied by website users and to take any measures it considers necessary, including requesting supporting documents or cancelling an order, to ensure that the person whose bank account is debited is the person who placed the order and to prevent fraudulent use of payment card numbers.
In accordance with French Law No. 78-17 of 6 January 1978 on information technology, data files and civil liberties, the processing of personal information collected on www.kingofcotton.fr has been declared to the CNIL. Website users have the right to access, amend, correct and delete their personal data.

OUR OFFER
These terms and conditions define the arrangements for distance sales between King of Cotton and website users, covering ordering, services, payment and delivery.
They govern all stages required to complete an order and the subsequent handling of that order between the contracting parties on www.kingofcotton.fr.
All orders constitute the website user’s irrevocable acceptance of these Terms and Conditions of Sale. The parties agree that their relationship will be governed exclusively by these terms, which constitute the Contract.
The website user declares that they have the legal capacity to enter into this Contract, meaning that they are of legal age and are not subject to guardianship or a court-appointed legal assistance arrangement.
The website user also declares that they are not purchasing King of Cotton products for resale.
ORDERS
All orders constitute express and irrevocable acceptance of the prices and descriptions of the products available for sale.
The website user declares that they have read and irrevocably accepted these Terms and Conditions of Sale before completing their order. Confirming an order therefore constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions of Sale.
To allow website users to review their order before confirming it definitively, King of Cotton provides review and acceptance screens. The order is only definitively registered once the final confirmation has been made on the card payment screen. From the final acceptance click, the order is considered irrevocable. Once the order has been registered, an email will be sent to the website user confirming that King of Cotton has received the order.
All information supplied by the website user during the ordering process, together with the recorded order confirmation, constitutes proof of the transaction.
King of Cotton reserves the right to refuse an order from a website user with whom there is an unresolved dispute concerning payment for a previous order.

PRICES
Prices are quoted in euros and include all applicable taxes.
These prices exclude the fixed handling charge, which covers postage, packaging and parcel preparation at the applicable rates.
Prices include VAT at the rate applicable on the date of the order. Any change in the VAT rate may be reflected in product prices without prior notification to the website user.
SPECIAL / BESPOKE ORDERS
Payment in advance is required before any special or bespoke order can be processed.
