Unlike other waterproof mattress protectors, this product does NOT have a laminated PVC layer, that only allows a standard wash, this waterproof element is actually a non allergic polymer, which is antimicrobial, thinner and lighter than PVC and is fused into the cotton.

It can be washed at a temperature of 95°C which ensures that no harmful allergens, bacteria or viruses can survive on the product, as they do on so many other protectors.

Because we do not use any phthalates or PVC in this product, it is odourless and completely impervious to dust-mites.

Dust mite infestation is a major cause of asthma and allergies. A typical used mattress may harbour anywhere from 100,000 to 10 million mites inside it and correct sanitation is crucial for the confidence and safety of the user.
